I had a fun day at the Startup Camp 2 here in San Francisco. I led a couple of sessions (one on PR and another on startup priorities) and learned a bunch too. I met some really cool people doing some really cool things, and some other startups that kind of make you shake your head a lot…more on that in a different post.
During the day, I got to demonstrate MyPunchbowl.com, and at the end of the day MyPunchbowl.com was chosen as one of the top 3 startups at the conference. There were about 45-50 startups that presented, so this felt really good.
As I was leaving the conference, one angel investor pulled me to the side and said “not bad for a Boston based startup to crash the Startup Camp and walk away being named one of the best.”
Yeah, not bad at all. Thanks to everyone who voted for MyPunchbowl.
